The expense of a brake job and the other issues with the Team axle made it an easy decision to ditch it for a CC rear when I did my clone swap.

Good point, I guess any rear would be better. Maybe even an ezgo rear

Don't get me wrong, as long as the brakes aren't worn out, they are really good. Always brakes evenly on both sides, easy pedal pressure, super easy single point brake/cable adjustment. But when it gets time for replacement, things get trickier. Certainly wouldn't cause me to flip to the dark side...

anyone have experience with changing fluid on a 2016 G29 ( drive ) model? ive got drum brakes on each side with a 6" lift so my diff and basically pointing straight down. i cant seem to find weight and capacities for that model.
it is a fleet cart that i recently acquired so its been on a course for close to three years now.

I found the owners manual for a 2016 YDRA Drive. The trans axle needs to be sitting level and there is a plug at the rear to check the fluid level. If you have a 6" like mine you will have to back up on some kind of a ramp to get the axle level as it was in stock condition. The manual doesn't specify an amount of fluid, just that you fill it up to the level of the inspection port with SAE 90 gear oil. The manual states to service the axle fluid to take it to a qualified dealer or mechanic.
