What muffler/silencer options do I have for 670cc in Yamaha G14?

I have a Yamaha G14 golf cart with a 670cc V-Twin Predator motor in it that I recently purchased and it's NOISY!

I'm looking for guidance on what muffler/silencer I can buy to make this thing reasonably quiet.

Currently, I think it has a "bullet muffler" (silencer?) on it, that looks very similar to this one, but not sure if the same.

I used a caliper to measure the outside of the pipe coming into the bullet thing and it's 1.463", so I'm thinking maybe a 1-5/16" or 1-7/16" inlet?

I've been hunting online and I'm really struggling to figure out what I should buy. Here are some pictures:

You might want to look at my "clone exhaust" thread in the clone section. Almost anything would be better than what you have. Ideal situation is to come off the header in a 90 degree angle either by a side inlet muffler or a by a 90 degree curved pipe and use the width of the cart for a transverse exhaust system. Just make sure that you support the system well or it will break. Lots of different ideas from others on that thread.

I have a different cart, but what Ray said is to do what I did, use a longer muffler and position it across the width of the cart. On mine, I was able to use the bagwell/shelf. On yours you'll have to fabricate a few brackets to come off the rear frame of the swing arm, or you could use some existing bolts to fasten your muffler hangers to. Just a thought.

This muffler I used I found at Tractor Supply. It's a universal muffler for an International Harvester tractor, cost like $20 or $30. The sound is fantastic. Sounds like a stock atv, not loud at all, even quieter than my zero turn mower. Its a straight through muffler, so performance won't suffer.

This is a Walker 22229 muffler ( about $30) in an EZGO TXT with a HF 670. Pipes are from Robertson Torque Tubes.
Not stock sound, though pretty quiet.

@Slonomo - I think I found the muffler in your picture IH-10 but in your last picture, it looks like you welded it into the side of the muffler instead of the back (see pic below)?

And this might be a stupid question, but is it easy/difficult to get the body of the cart off the frame? That would make things easier.

Did you just cut off the various metal hangers and things and fab everything else?

I've found a local welding shop with an old guy that sounds like he'll weld whatever I want, but I want to make sure to show up with all of the parts.

I'm guessing I need a couple of these hardware clamps?

@jclark138 - I found the 22229 quiet flow. I'll read about that one.

I just called Walker's technical support directly and told them my situation and he recommended the Walker 17872 (link here)

It's a 1.5" in/out and has a couple positive reviews. Any idea which would be better/worse?

I need and exhaust-line that extends the outlet to somewhere behind the buggy. Can I just get pipe or something?
