04 ezgo txt motor adjusting
ok im new to this cart thing. i just bought a 6 inch lift and 23 in tires. i want to get the most out of my motor. i know its only 9hp(i think) but every little bit helps. any suggestions at all are welcome. to start im not sure where i need to adjust my cables to. i cranked down the governor spring but my pedal had some play before it caught so i tighted the same cable that the spring is on. is this good or bad, and what do i need to check for. also what is that other cable running out the back and what do i need to do with it. I have also heard something about cutting off part of muffler and cutting a bigger hole in the bottom. any details or pics would be helpful. sorry for all the rambling but i need info. oh and finally would this shorter belt thing be good. thanks for the help

On your cable adjustment look in this thread. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-e...ntainance.html
There's plenty of posts about the shorter belt so you can decide if it's what you need, all you have to do is read. Ask mikesmotortoys about the muffler mod, maybe he has one you can buy. |
