I bought the LVS kit and most of the parts fit the carb. Jets, needle valves and float worked fine. I had to use my old whatever the thing is that is connected to the float. The kit had one but not the little wire holder that slips over the metL tab on the float. I felt shipping was a bit steep. 16.00 for regular shipping but they did send it out fast.

That was standard shipping. I did get it pretty fast which shocked me. Now I might have clicked on the wrong shipping but as I recall, I didn't ask for any special handling.

Yep, you got jacked. How the lock nut disappeared is strange... I would think if someone wanted the carb they would just take it and not go through the trouble of putting one back on. Is it possible you daughter let someone ride it and maybe make changes to go fast without her knowledge? Had a friend with a similar situation where her daughter had borrowed the cart and one of her cousins who knew what her was doing had tweeked it.. Step on the gas and it ran like a bat out of hades. He put a longer screw in the idle stop. Was almost 3/4 throttle at the stop..
