Carryall 252 parking brake
We have 6 Carryall 252's and a couple of them have issues with the parking brake not locking. What is the easiest/most common fix for this? I HAVE, in the past, advanced the splines on the pedal, but then it didn't want to shut off. I can work on the big Toro mowers here at the Course, but for some reason I am deficient with the golf carts!
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks |

Re: Carryall 252 parking brake
Have you tried to adjust the rod coming from the paw to the foot pedal? Also at my course we had to replace the bushings that bolt to the frame. where the pedal linkage goes thru the frame. What happens is to much slop and the pedal asm. sags down.

Re: Carryall 252 parking brake
i have had to replace the plastic bushings as well. they are cheap too. also the pawls can wear out pretty quickly as well. it is fairly cheap for a new set of them as well.
