Default Cleaning gas and break pedals?

I've got my g9 looking cleaner than it's been in a long time, but the pedals are almost black. Anyone know of something to make em look new again? I've tried tarnX and that didn't touch em. Thanks

This: http://www.mrclean.com/en_US/magic-eraser.do

I've never used anything like it. Inexpensive, it works on nearly everything, and isn't messy.

Since most of the pedal parts are aluminum, take them apart and have them sandblasted. They come out real nice

Dang, never thought of sandblasting...talk about instant restoration! Plus, while you are in there, you can clean and lube all the pivot pionts real good (and replace any trashed pivot bolts). Makes me wanna 'blast mine, even tho they aint too bad looking.

We always used glass bead blasting on aluminum, you have
to use lower pressure so it is a little slower going but the results were shinny.
