Default 2004 EZ GO - Speed question with upgrades

got (6) new 8 volt batteries, all new 2 gauge cables, upgraded F&R switch, new 500 alltrax controller and heavy duty solenoid.

Cart does have a slight lift and larger tires

batteries fully charged, flat ground, with just me it is only running between 18-20 mph. Thought i would have been faster. Is there anything to check or does this maybe point towards a weak motor or some other issue?

Series cart, that's about right for the stock motor.

36v or 48v? I ask because you have another thread on 48v.

These are good numbers for 21" tires and stock series motor on 48v. The 36v speed on 18s would have been about 12-14 mph
