Re: Help me please 2003 club car ds
Since You mentioned You were an electrician, if You were using a low impedance (Lo-Z) meter, it would have affected the pedal reading.
The Fluke 117 for example, when in Auto-V mode, has an input impedance of 3kΩ. if You put that impedance on Pin #3, it would have caused a voltage divider with the MCOR and the maximum voltage would have been around 3.5v. If You measure that again in the regular DC volts setting (high impedance) it should read 0-5v. It does not look good for the motor, You may have a bad armature. You can put the FNR in neutral and measure the resistance between A1 and A2, it should be very low. You can also try the voltage test with Pedal up and Down between A2 and M- to see if the armature winding is good. |

ok Sergio I will check the resistance between a1 and a2 I still have the original motor that I took out when I put the plumquick bandit in so I will try swapping motors out also glad I kept the old motor

Re: Help me please 2003 club car ds
Ok went back and checked motor readings and they were fine so moved on to checking to see if old motor would work while disconnecting plumquick motor found that the cable gaining to a2 had been pinched between the frame and battery six and shorted out had finally had time to start tracing every wire never would have found it without disconnecting and pulling it out it broke when I tried to pull it out

The higher amperage will really only help with torque, i.e. going up hills.

I am glad You got it working, like I said so many things in the cart have similar symptoms that sometimes You just have to have patience and check everything.
