Re: Batteries not charging fully
At 60.3 all of your batteries should be bubbling. Take the battery caps off a verify that each individual cell is bubbling about the same.

Each cell is bubbling... As in small bubles are rising to the top... Not like boiling water.

Re: Batteries not charging fully
Ok all of the cells are good. It is now in the absorption charging mode. It should maintain that voltage for a least a hour or two and shut off. The current may drop slightly. For all practical purposes your batteries are charged now. They are just being topped off.

Ok. When the charger shuts off, what should my meter read? I know they need to settle before a proper reading.

Re: Batteries not charging fully
Once you let them rest( give it 2 or 3 hrs) from that overcharging you should read 50.9v +or- a tenth of a volt. Check it again in the morning and it should be 50.9. In case nobody told you always leave the charger plugged in when not in use. If the battery warning light flashes when you disconnect the plug the battery voltage dropped below 50.9.

Re: Batteries not charging fully
One last thought. Are you able to turn on your headlights w/o the key switch on?

Negative. The voltage reducer is keyed... For the headlights anyways. It is the madjax one with 2 outputs. 1 switched which goes to the fuse block for light kit, and thr other is a constant 12v output. I was going to hook that up to the memory side of a radio as no not let it lose memory. But that wire is unhooked to anything. I've wondered about that but I cant see that it would not let the batteries charge 100% when its not drawing current ever
