Well, after what seems like an eternity I finally have her moving under her own power again! A very reliable source tells me the precharge resistor being warm is normal to keep the large cap bank in the 700 amp FSIP monster fed. Now I'm back to the issue of the throttle, will try switching resistors one and two soon, and switch to a 48 volt set if need be.
Does anyone know the resistance values of the 5k-0 V-glide resistors? The 0-5k ones are not produced anymore but the 5k-0 ones are. If they're the same I'll just install them backwards. |

For the prices I've seen for the ready-made sets, I'd make them myself. You already have the 750 ohm and the 1100 is close enough for the 1000 ohm. You only need to make 3.
