Are there any thoughts on the bypassed Solenoid being the cause of the limp mode activation?
The limp mode has not been a factor until I bypassed the Solenoid which obviously has failed as the cart at least moves now. I probably blew the $400 on the extra set of batteries but I had just replaced three of the 8v anyway so.... I hate fixing things by just swapping hundred dollar parts until the "whalla" moment. Well, today I needed to use the cart and it attained full speed... For a bit. Then after stopping for a few minutes it went back to limp mode.
That tells me that bypassing the Solenoid temporarily does not affect the speed controller? There has to be a short or something that causes the now intermittent limp mode activation. What can I check? |
