Default changed V Glide now will not go.

I changed out V-Glide after it melted. now when I turn key it moves slow but when pedal pushed stops. I have a 2001 DS. when I turn key I can hear solenoid clicking, and when pedal pushed switch clicks. At a loss.

I'm assuming it's a 36 volt?

Yes, but it's not likely since he said it melted. 48 volt carts don't carry any power through the V-glide, just throttle signals.

It sounds like You miss-wired the micro switch inside the V-Glide.

You need to use the Normally Closed contacts of the micro switch.

...what sergio said!

Hope you got a great deal on that replacement VGlide. Solid state conversions are very affordable and come with a cart-load of benefits ...controllers rated at VGlide performance levels are especially affordable.

That is what it sounds like to me. The wrong micro switch in the VGlide and is wired in the normally open mode. So when he steps on the pedal it opens and shuts the cart down.
