Mine has a castlenut that came with the lift kit (Jakes). I appreciate the advise. I think I may have it too tight

I've never installed a Jake's lift kit. That's interesting. I've never seen a castle nut setup with a sealed bearing. Still, the same concept applies. Tighten it up to where it's loose enough for the bearings to roll freely, but tight enough for the hub not to move in and out.
