Re: mcor problems
Silly Scotty,
Club Car makes way more money selling MCORs this way. Why else would they go from a $4 switch to a GCOR??? Just like EZGO and striped hubs!! The days of building something higher quality so it last longer are over. The golf car became so popular because it was dependable, durable and cheap to repair and maintain. Sad to say, but Not much of that applies anymore. Parts are priced similar to ATVs and climbing steadily. And although range and fuel economy has increased, durability and dependability has not. |

Re: mcor problems
I guess it is safe to say that there has been no progress made on the mcor4 problems! It's time for me to order #5 IN JUST 30 MONTHS.
this one made it five months! I keep hoping that I'll get a good one and it last a whole year. Bartman357 |

Re: mcor problems
Wow. That's pretty bad. As far as I know, the internals are the same. For the record and for all people viewing this post, the MCOR4 itself has a much lower failure rate thus far than the previous models, with the exception of your case of course.

Yes, Tahoedawg if it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any. Only thing that I am noticing, is the yellow sticker that says (made in Japan).
Lol I'll call today and order another one. Bartman357 |

Re: mcor problems
Japan???? Please! send me a picture of this. I've attached a photo of the MCOR4 that you'll receive. They've been in Mexico since 2004 or 2005 or so. Before that, they were made in Illinois.

Maybe that's the problem all along. He hasn't put a 'real' one on yet. |
