Re: I probably wired somthing wrong
You are still connected to the wrong battery post, You have +24v where it is connected on battery #4.
You need to move that red wire to the negative post of the battery #4. Check the main fuse, look at the end of the screwdriver in the attached picture for the location. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/attac...e_location.jpg |

Re: I probably wired somthing wrong
I'm not a pro on Precedents. This is just some general troubleshooting.
Once everybody's up and going, hopefully one of the pros will help us out. Access the back of your key switch. There are 2 terminals, 1 always hot, the other is switched. Connect voltmeter to 1 terminal on switch and to your battery pack negative. On 1 terminal you will have 48 volts all the time , the other terminal will only show voltage with key switch on. It sounds to me like a loose connection. Did you disconnect your main positive or negative cable before you installed lites? Did you re connect them to pack when you were done? Look at wiring diagram sticky, it will show you where fuse is located. Although it's not likely, but possible you blew you cart fuse. The only other reason you're buggie's not running is a fried controller, but I believe that is not likely either. Make sure you didn't pull any wires loose from solenoid and controller. |

Re: I probably wired somthing wrong
Well it's working now the fuse was blown !!! thanks for all that helped Muddog too and CTD really big help.
Couple of notes that I was not able to find on the forum -The fuse is a 15a blue fuse -it's easy to get to from the rear access without removing the panel by jacking the rear of the cart up thanks for the tip CTD |
