great .... they did not put controllers in til 89

I completely removed the control system on my 81, no controller, unless you call the "space heater" behind the batts a "controller"

Hard to believe a repair shop would say such a thing like that.I guest I should not deal with this outfit.

83 club car- one of the simplest to fix.

Any shop that says it has a controller......yeah run away

Looking at the diagrams, if my understanding is correct, I should have -36 coming from the battery to the charger plug.Then to the key switch through the F/R limit switch,to the small post at the 5 th solenoid.
So when I turn the key switch....should that solenoid I hear it active ??

yes... 81~87 club car ds
88 they went to v-glide and coils
89 they added a controller , but v-glide has resistors inside
note: 70 ~79 club car croche also uses this type set up

In the diagram of wiring in a 1983 1/2 and newer F/R switch, installing a jumper is this just for testing or can you rewire the old switch this way ???
