2008 club car ds speed sensor !
Aright guys , looking for some advice, I have a club car ds iq did some research and came to the conclusion the speed sensor was out and was running in limp mode about 7-8 mph so I got a new sensor replaced it and now the cart won't move just makes a click sound when the pedal is pressed ! Any ideas what's wrong cause I don't have a clue thanks in advance

Re: 2008 club car ds speed sensor !
Put your old sensor back in and do the speed sensor test outlined below.
If you replaced the speed sensor and now get nothing, chances are you got the speed sensor off of ebay or maybe Amazon and got some Chinese junk. Get a speed sensor from a site sponsor and you'll be happier and the customer service will be second to none. I recommend Revolution Golf Cars (TahoeDawgZ71) http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...nsor-test.html ***Edit*** Just saw your other post, if you got a speed sensor from Revolution and it doesn't do anything, put your old sensor back in and see if it works. If so, just reach out to Revolution, I'm sure Dave will take care of you. |

Re: 2008 club car ds speed sensor !
Again, put your old sensor back in and see if it works. If so, contact the site sponsor you purchased from and I am positive they will help you make it right.
Now, if you put the old sensor in and the cart still doesn't move, you may have other issues... |

ok, now we can start diagnosis.
Did you do anything else to the cart? Unhook batteries? Did you have cart in tow mode when you put new sensor in? Batteries all charged up? What is pack voltage? |

I just put a 6" lift on it originally when I changed the old to new sensor I did not put it in tow mode but I did when I replace the old just now and batteries are fully charged
