Thanks for all the help. I bought a new hd selonoid from David at revolution and it doubled her speed from 8 mph to 16 mph . So she will drive it awhile and I'll keep an eye out for bigger rims. I appreciate all the feedback it's very good to have a place where you can get help .

I am glad to hear it is working better now, a welded solenoid is certainly the unusual way to get "limp mode", but it happens.
Once you feel like it is working right, you can re-install the Speedlink or buy a speed magnet to increase speed if desired. Just keep in mind either of those options will remove the regenerative brake. |
