Default Curtis 1204 Throttle Input

How do you know the exact throttle input that a given Curtis 1204 series controller is programmed for? All of the model numbers are in the form of 1204-XXX. In doing my own research, the throttles seem to be all over the place. Some are 0-5k, others 5k-0, or even EZGO ITS. In the Curtis 1204/1205 manual, it states that they all accept a 0-5k signal, but I have found that not to be the case. Any insight would be appreciated.

I believe when you connect the programmer to it you see it. If there is a setting to change it or anything else, those are seen through the programmer too. I have seen them hooked to some that gave lots of adjustable parameters and some that had very little. I assume it is designed that way and varies with each model.

I do not know of any other way to know what each is capable of without a Curtis model specific spec sheet. Someone else may know more details for specific models. We had a 1204-410 and it allowed very little

I've noticed that not all of these have the programming port. So I guess those can't be changed at all...

The 1204/1205 comes as either a 0-5k pot or a ET (electronic throttle) 0-5v and are non programmable
The 1204M/1205M have multiple throttle inputs and are programmable .I have one of them as a replacement on my 2000 DS Series.

The answer may not be as simple as I thought, although the Curtis Manual is as I quoted, I see there is a Curtis 1204-410 that has a 5k - 0 throttle
