Default New OBC or DPI Charger?

I know this has been debated ad nauseum. I was concern d because I really like the regen braking. It seems like I still retain control of that with my new Alltrax. My OBC took a crap. I have to make a decision because I need to charge the cart. Any opinions are very much appreciated.
Thanks
Andy

This is a no-brainer.
Especially if you have the Alltrax which gives you many ways to modify and control your regen regardless of whether the OBC works or not.

I don’t think the OBC controls regen braking, at least not on the ones I’ve had. That’s set by the controller I believe.

Get the DPI Charger and delete OBC. You can sell your stock charger to offset some of the cost.

Heck, get a DPI and send your obc to Scotty for his troubles. [He LOVES those things.]

They do make good target practice You can hang them from the tree by their too many wires.

No brainer. Buy the charger and rip out the excess weight.

The DPI charger does not rely on the OBC once it’s bypassed
