Default 02 DS IQ help

I just bought this cart cheap not running. Batteries were low, but looks good and seems to be holding a charge pretty good. No click, no reverse buzzer, cannot get my curtis programmer to power up when plugged in to the main plug under the fnr. I did the OBC bypass, and the MCOR switch bypass to rule those out. Battery cables are excellent, and the cart charges fine. I'm thinking bad controller, but wanted y'alls input on anything else to check? Thanks!

Any chance it could be a bad FNR switch?

I haven't checked that, but my programmer is not powering up which makes me thing either the controller is not getting power or it's not powering up at all. I do have power to and through the key switch, but that's as far as I have checked.

I haven't took the cover off yet. I plan on doing that tonight when I get. I'm assuming it's the curtis 1510. It still has the original cover over the controller.

Check here http://www.fsip.biz/CurtisManuals.html for a manual. If they have one for your controller it will have bench and cart testing procedures in it to verify the issue.

The programming wire that runs from the F-R switch to the controller itself may be shorted/broken somewhere along the line. I have seen that happen before. Take the controller cover off and try plugging directly into the controller and see what happens

Stupid me forgot that I had a Curtis IQ control on the shelf from a previous upgrade. Just stuck it on the cart and she runs great! So far I've got $500 in this cart, and it is in great shape other than the right front body is busted up a little. Thinking about a Doubletake Spartan body long top. It already has a back seat.
