36 Volt DS Short Charge
Sorry if this has been covered, but I have searched the archives and can't find a definitive answer. I have 94 DS 36v with 3 year old Trojan batteries and a relatively new Lester Links charger. The charger never runs for more than 4 hours despite the state of charge and consistently only charges the batteries to around 6.25 volts, or 80% charge. I have cleaned and checked all of the connections. Any ideas?

Re: 36 Volt DS Short Charge
Have you checked each individual cell to see what "its" charge is? Could be a bad cell or cells holding you back. Also, do you have a friend with a charger you could borrow to test after you check the cells with a hydrometer?
