The wire harness is a piece of cake to install, one of the more simple jobs I have done.

Thanks! I'll post when I make the swap and let you all know how it went.

[Please note: Sometimes just getting me out of bed in the morning is a real chore!]

Did You by-pass the OBC?

In your cart the OBC powered the entire logic system instead of just the lockout function.

Since you are still using the OBC for charging, you can cut the Blue wire between the 6-pin connector and the OBC and splice the piece of the Blue wire that goes to the harness connector with the White wire.

I assume You also have the speed sensor disconnected right?

Edit:
Put some tape on the cut blue wire that goes into the OBC to insulate it as it has +48v.
Hi, Sergio,

Bypassing the OBC in this way will still enable the PD charger to work properly, correct?

This is not the same as a complete OBC bypass, is this also a correct statement?

Thanks always for all your knowledgeable help!

Tom

You are correct in both statements, as long as the OBC charging circuit is working this will not interfere with it as it only by-passes the "controller lockout" portion of the OBC functionality.
