Default Noob Seeking advice on used 48V Club Car

Hello,

I am looking for a used Club Car 48v to purchase this winter or spring. Up to $6k is my budget. This cart will be my personal golf cart and will be stored in a cart barn when not in use. I will most likely run 14” wheels but no lift. Looking for recommendations for the best year or the best bang for the buck cart including refurbished or privately owned. What should I look for and wha to avoid? I’d like something newer than a 2005. I’d also like to make the cart run around 19 mph. Thank you in advance.

I believe the 2014 and later CC had no OBC (On Board Computer) and a smart charger. Most people seem to agree that it is better than the earlier Precedents. I don't know about prices in the US, you'll get better advice about that from others.

Have a 2014 i bought for $2700. with the mods to fix it up, depending how fancy you want to go, $6k total is reasonable.

If you were asking me I am not looking to sell. I can see where it seemed like that, sorry. I was just posting the amount I paid before fixing up to let the OP know his budget is fully reasonable.

I think he was asking the OP where he was located for a better understanding of what he may have to pay for a cart.

Thanks guys. I’m located in MT. My local dealer has a reconditioned 2014 precedent i2 for sale. I just wanted to make sure this was a good year.
