The reverse beep is a good thing and eliminates the ignition switch and reed switch as possibilities.
Your cables are pretty gnarly and I am concerned about the burned one on the solenoid. Basically the battery power just passes through the solenoid from the positive side of your battery pack. You could eliminate all questions about that cable and the solenoid if you take a battery sized cable from the positive side of the battery pack to the other end of the burned wire which I think is on the controller. If the cart runs, it is the cable or the solenoid. If not, it could be the throttle actuator or the controller itself. If you don't feel comfortable doing this, there are other ways, they just take longer. |

I use jumper cables. I hooked the one end up to the battery and the other side to the left side of the controller and step on the pedal and it went!!!!!! It must be the cable or solenoid? huh?

If you can follow a schematic drawing here is one from Alltrax for your cart that should give you a sequence to do voltage checks and the associated switches involved. It should be relatively easy to dance through the system with a meter and find your problem.
