Angry 95 ezgo electric cart ramdomly stops

i have a 95 ezgo electric cart that randomly stops. sometimes it will go half a mile before it dose it some times couple hundred yards. i can let it sit for a few mins and sometimes it goes a little ways and dose it again and other times it has to sit for awhile before it will move again ultimately to go a little ways and stop again.i load tested the batteries a couple months ago and all were good . any ideas what is causing this problem. thanks in advance for any help

When it won't go test for a solenoid failure.
Does the solenoid click when the cart won't go?
You will need to remove the controller cover for further testing.

The big terminals conduct pack voltage. (36v positive)

If it clicks and there is not 36v+ on both large terminals then the solenoid has failed.
