batteries bulging
Yesterday while I was checking my cable connections at my motor I noticed that my batteries are bulging out a bit. I regularly maintain them due to learning a lesson from not maintaining my previous set and only getting a little over 2 yrs of service out of them. Just wondering if this is a concern that I should let the dealer from whom I purchased them aware of. These batteries are the 8v Trojan T-185's with a post stamp of J0. Thanks guys.

Re: batteries bulging
Maybe they saw a smokin hot set of t-105's roll by and got all excited...
Mine are early 08' and several have a slight bow to the sides, doesn't seem to be a problem, but I really don't know for sure. |

Re: batteries bulging
Are your hold downs real tight? They should only be snug enough to keep the batteries in place! The cases on these are relatively thin and will bulge if tightened down real tight. In my experience a slight bulging has no effect on the batteries performance!
