Default ezgo electric questions

1. model# G1494 was '94 a transition year it looks like a marathon but model number should be next model?

2. I have always had gas carts... can I run 48v system with 36v motor, kind of like overclocking computer?

3. Have you ever seen the terminal of a battery blow up? what would cause this, also when charger was pluged in it used to fault, and or sizzle and start small fires on terminals. This can't be good

Thanks

94.5 was a change year. Marathon to TXT

Yes you can run the 36v motor on 48v Like overclocking a computer... the same dangers exist.

I have seen battery terminals melt down, not blow up? Usually it is caused by a bad or loose connection which begins to arc.

prior to the bad connection/exploding battery trick, the cart would shut off at full throttle. This is the POT most likely?

The pot output should be 0-5k

If it gets too far OL the controller may drop out.

What kind of range are you getting?
