digital battery meter
It's a rainy day in Louisana and was a good day to join a forum. I'am interested in the digital battery meter, those who have installed them leave the yellow battery light can the meter replace the light or does it have to stay? I have read so much usefull info great place to be, I'll have to get bussy on my profile.
Thanks for the info |

Re: digital battery meter
The yellow warning light is a part of the on board computer system and should be left in place in addition to the digital meter for real time monitoring.

Re: digital battery meter
I have ScottyBs meter in the dash. When doing maintainence (paydays are every other week, easy to remember) I am amazed at how accurate the little meter is, my Fluke meter shows more after the decimal point and thats the only reason its more accurate

Re: digital battery meter
It is a great meter. Have not had mine long. It is real accurate and bright, easy to see in bright sunlight. Have not seen it in total darkness yet. Might even blind you. LOL !!!!

Re: digital battery meter
I use mine as much on the recharge cycle as the driving...... I like to check on the charger to see how close to done I am.... and to be sure my batts are coming up to where they should be.
Plus, I enjoy the comfort of know how much juice is left in the pack when I far from the home or base camp and I'm thinking about venturing further out... |
