Battery Question
Just purchased a 2005 48V Club car Precedent. The batteries are 2007 Trojans that the person from whom I purchased it said they were "12 Year" batteries. From looking at this board, I see that the base life is around 5 years. Anyway, I got him to come down on the price a bit due to the age of the batteries.
My question is, does trojan make batteries that are "12 year batteries"? Also, in looking on their site, I am having trouble finding what the proper maintenance of the batteries should be. I would appreciate any tips or suggestions. I struggled between gas or electric and in the long run and for a variety of reasons, I thought that this might be more practical. Thanks, Murph |

Re: Battery Question
12 year battery? Nope . . . the 5 year life span is probably closer to reality, if they were well maintained . . . as for maintaining batteries, read thru here:
