Default Need help...

i have a 96 club car ds 48v. i went through all this stuff trying to figure out problems with it. at first it didnt want to go forwards, and definately wouldnt go up a small hill, but reverse was fine. did alot of checking and never could figure out the problem. my cart has been converted over to 48v, and i have a 48v charger. well all of a sudden it started working normal. it goes forward fine and gets to speed quick. its real jerky when you take off and stop. also sometimes it takes off by itself. any ideas?

Here's my old thread http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...-no-power.html

Basically it had no power, I couldn't figure out why. We were thinking it was the controller. It manically started working one day. But even if u barely press the gas it takes off wot. Really jerky. Also jerky when u let off the throttle. Yesterday I left the key on and it took off wide open and hit my grandpas house. When I got on it to stop it, it was like the throttle was stuck. But the pedal wasn't stuck.

this sounds like it might have more than one problem.......if cart took off on its own the solenoid was stuck for some reason.....you said it was converted from 36 volt? what all did you do.........................................

It is really hard for us to advise as we have no idea what you really are working with? post pics of all the components and we will see if we can help. Until then disconnect the battery pack!
