Default Re: How to get speed code

You cannot select code 4 from the "Speed Code" setting screen.

You need to enter the correct Code-A, Code-B and Code-C for that controller serial number for it to go into speed code 4.

Unfortunately brute force attack will not work as the controller permanently locks up after several wrong attempts.

At this point the best option to get back to speed 4 speed would be to install a speed magnet, but You will loose the Regen brake.

If the sticker is still on the cart, enter the codes, flip to tow for ten seconds, flip back to run. Speed setting will be on 4 if correct code was entered.

If it locks out after several wrong attempts, does it self restore after a brief period of time? Do you know how long? Will that period of time extend upon additional incorrect attempts?

Thanks in advance

Once the controller is lockout of code 4 only the factory can unlock it.

Get an Alltrax from Revolution Golf Cars or Carts Unlimited (both forum sponsors). You'll have a better controller with more torque and/or speed and you'll be able to program it yourself just with a laptop. You'll never have to be worried about code four again.

Not only that but you'll have all that and STILL have your regen (which itself is adjustable).

WIN, WIN, WIN.
