Default Alltrax controller npx 4834 48v 300a??

I am in the process of converting my 74 Caroche to solid state and want to keep it low buck as possable. Going from 36v to 48v and found a deal on this controller for $135 including a 400a solenoid. My cart is strictly a street queen with no hills to speak of around here. I have a Plum Quick Bandit motor and 2/0 battery cables and 1/0 everywhere else. Would this controller be ok for my application?

I would rather see you with an AXE4845 on that fine restoration.

I think you may need a pot box? Not too sure. I say try it and see how it does. My cart does well on a stock 225amp controller!

If you r tires and weight is close to a stock cart the 300a control may work okay... not great and it may even be slower than your old resistor coil set up... your best bet is to call PQ since their motor is involved and ask them which control they suggest and how they want it programmed. The wrong choice could cost you a motor & controller.
