Default Dcx400 problems questions.

I recently changed out the motor and controller from a series cart converted to a pds. So i have a stock pds motor and a dcx400 controller. When im riding and hitting small bumps te solenoid drops out. Ive put my meter across it and see the 36 volts actually deop to like 20 or lower then bounce right back up its like its skipping.

Ive checked the microswitch in the ped box and it closes to .1 ohms and ive tried to wiggle it around.

Ive checked the wireing harness from tbe pedal box to the controller.

Is there something in the controller screwing up?

Hopefully i can figure this out. I has been working fine for 3 weeks since ive changed everything over.

Sounds like a loose connection. Either in stock PDS cable harness (Pins 6 & 7 to J1) or in the Alltrax adapter.

If it is a HD aftermarket solenoid, it might be in the white wires from the small posts to the actual coil terminals.

Well i emailed alltrax and he told me to bypass the reed switch in the charger plug. Ive did that and so far it seems to have fixed it. He said thats wht powers the solenoid activation circuit. Time will tell but its been running fine for two days. Was hoping it wasnt controller related ill keep u posted
