Hopefully the damage is minimal.
Get them fully charged and measure the pack voltage as well as the individual battery voltages about 12 hours after the charger shuts off automatically. (Note: your charger might not be working properly) Pack should read 38.2V (or a bit higher since they are new batteries) Individual batteries should read 6.37V (or slightly higher) The difference between highest and lowest battery should be 0.1V or less. You may have to charge batteries several times to get them to meet this criteria. If you cannot find a good 36V charger, use a 12V charger and charge them two at a time. You don't have to disconnect them from each other. (See attached) Charge each 12V pair up until the on-charge voltage is 15V. |
