Re: Jumping charger relay
Unfortunately I do not have the time to try to rejuvenate these batteries. I had the batteries load tested and they failed. I was able to get new Deka batteries for $93 and I also bought 2/0 - 13" welding cable for the connections.

Re: Jumping charger relay
Thank you guys for all your help. I did a lot of work today. I replaced the brackets for the batteries, installed the new batteries and cables, and replaced all the bushings on the suspension. My back is killing me. This site has helped me a lot. Thank you all again.

Re: Jumping charger relay
Ok I've been breaking in the batteries for about 10 days now. And everything is going as the sticky says. I need to get one of my neighbors who is a cop to clock me, but it feels faster. Years ago my neighbor clocked me at 25 mph. Could new batteries and the big 2/0 awg welding cable wires for the batteries give me more speed?

Re: Jumping charger relay
Fluctuated between 27 and 28 MPH. So I'll say 27, not bad I'm happy. And I have only cycled the batteries 6 times.
