Default Re: Lift Kit....... HELP?

Because of the increased sidewall of the tire for an 8" wheel (more sidewall/less wheel vs a 10" wheel = less sidewall and more wheel). The ride is more cushy, which is great for backyards & dirt roads. I found myself more on paved roads and the softer sidewall gives it a squishy feel/ride, especially when turning. Add a lift and rear seat and your center of gravity is a LOT higher. Higher CG and squishy is a concern for me. The 10" will lessen the effect, as I've found out when driving other carts with lift and 10" wheels and 22" tires. Just a preference for me. (I should probably go slower around the corners!) I still run the 8" wheels, just have to watch the speed around the corners.

VERY informative and great reasons! Thank you. I will ask about a 10" wheel upgrade. Makes lots of sense.

I noticed the comment about questioning the lift for off road. If someone wanted a slight lift for off road, what would y'all suggest? All I have done so far is to take the grass slicks off and put on some knobby 9.5X18's, The country club has told me not to take our cart on the course. We might hurt the grass. It does pretty well in slick clay.

Anyway, what lift would endure off road? A certain brand?
