1997 48V Club Car DS help needed

okay yes this is what I thought it was. Go ahead and take your yellow wire off your solenoid and put a jumper wire from that same location to 48 volt negative. you are on board charging computer is designed not to allow the solenoid to engage while charging. My charging computer this option is stuck in the off position. And had to be bypassed as well.

From there to the 48V Neg on the solenoid, or where? Sorry for the confusion.

The last NEG post on your battery pack. Your Solenoid has the thin RED that gets +48 when the pedal is pressed, thin YELLOW that should read -48 from the computer. (These energize the solenoid) And two thick wires (red?) one from +48 from your pack and the other goes out to your controller that will read +48 when the solenoid is engaged. By bypassing the thin yellow wire you will bypass the safety on the OBC and the solenoid will engage regardless of charge state.

No click on the solenoid at all? You said you tested your pack and have voltage 48 or higher right? Said you replaced the solenoid already right? When you tested this you did have the F/R switch in something other then N right? Sorry for the stupid questions just trying to rule things out. have you done a continuity test on the micro switch on the pedal?

Sorry about the delay, but sometimes work gets in the way. Back to the issue at hand. The solenoid on the cart is not new, but I do have a new replacement if necessary. I did replace all the batteries, but still nothing.

So you have more then 48 volts in your pack and you took off the thin yellow wire off the solenoid and ran a jumper to -48 and still no CLICK when you press down on the pedal. Right?

Take a small jumper wire and touch it from the OTHER small terminal on the solenoid (NOT YELLOW) to the +48 side of the large lugs. The solenoid should click. if not its bad.
