09 Precedent Dragging Brakes
For a long time I was having problems with my 09 brakes on a normal stop. They seemed to be grabbing as if the drums were out of round and would grab and release and grab and release on every stop. A year ago I had the CC dealer totally remove and clean both rear brakes because the self adjusting mechanism was forcing the brakes to adjust up to tight and it was always dragging on the shoes. After the work is has been fine but the one out of round grabbing kept getting worse. I bought a new set if drums since I believed the old ones were out of round. I backed off the adjustment to get the new drums on and then drove the cart to get the shoes to adjust again. That worked ok for one day and now somthing is "Clicking" as I apply the brakes and the out of round grabbing has come back.
Any ideas what is going wrong. |
