NOPE

Magnets will NOT work on Excel Drive System
Your cart will FAIL to go even 10 mph because the Excel Drive System counts the RPM's differently from the IQ System

I put a magnet on an excel system and it also did no improvement.

Tahoe - Just so I'm reading it right cause I've read SO many posts on speed, regen, speed codes, etc that my mind is numb...

I have an IQ system with speed code 4. If I have the controller programed so the "pedal up mode" is set to zero, I will still get regen braking once max speed has been reached, I just won't get whiplash for taking my foot off the pedal?

My kids will be driving this cart (if we ever finish it) to the tank to fish and unlike most on this forum... I'm all for the "electronic governor" kicking in to slow my 15yr old down on hills while he's hauling his siblings
