Did you try Tractor Supply or Sears Hardware if you have them near you?

Was looking on the websites. Tried TSC and they don't show any "hanger bolts". They have a hanger bolt, but it is not the bolt/screw hanger bolt.

I melted a post last year. I didn't use a hanger bolt. I just drilled a hole and tapped it out and installed a stainless all thread stud that had a Allen hole in the head. The prob was the fine thread didn't hold as good as a anchor bolt. I would stick with CTD's fix. Steve

I have a Sears in the local Mall, but not sure about a "Sears Hardware". Never even heard that name before. I do have a Fastenal in the area, but 2-5 days on SS.

West Marine has the 5/16"x2-1/2" SS online for $34.99 pack of 10 and free shipping (3-7) days.

Anybody use something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gold-Side-Po...item417bb0ba24

I might be able to find that at the local auto parts store or radio shop.

I have a Sears Hardware near me (CNY). I don't think they are that common. There is some pretty cool crap in one.

Yeah, it's a pretty cool place. Not your typical Sears.
