Default Hopped up PDS problems

I had an 07 pds with a 500 amp alltrax controller and 3267 motor from nivel which was rated for 36v for stock applications or increased speed at 48v. Well after 3 years the motor bit the dust. Now that I'm running a 48v set up will the stock pds motor go back on there and if so do you think it will last. I think the controller was set to high and killed the first one. If the stock one will work I'm going to turn the controller WAY down. any thoughts

Welcome to BGW

Yes the stock motor will work, you can set the controller to 400 amps and it will help it last longer on 48 volts
