no forward or reverse

I recently had to change the batteries in my 2004 ezgo electric golfcart. My batteries froze and busted apart after a very cold winter. The new batteries are in , the reverse buzzer sounds, but I have no forward or reverse the cart will not move. Any ideas how to find out what the problem is would be greatly appreciated as I just spent 1500 cdn to replace the batteries.

Same problem. Had problem charging batteries now they charge but only a weak beep and no movement. Let me know if you figure it out.

check your wiring ... look under cart and see if something is hanging down ... it happens alot !!!
new batteries should be fully charged before first use

check pack volts after charger shuts off ... yes let it run it may take up to 16~20 hours
then let it sit 12h and give reading

Welcome to BGW, to both of you.

Need to know what type drive system to troubleshoot further than the battery pack.
See attachment to determine what you have.

If you have a Sepex drive system (DCS or PDS) and the batteries were disconnected/reconnected without placing the Run/Tow switch into TOW, the controller may have been destroyed.
