I don't like to see more than 5-6v - test each battery individually under identical load to see if one is doing most of the dropping.
And post us a pic of the batteries and the cables at the controller. |

Thanks Scottie. All of the batteries seemed to perform about the same. They all started about 6.4 volts and dropped to between 5.95 - 5.99.

I can't figure out how to post a pic, but the cables and batteries are clean - no corrosion at all and all connections are tight.
