I know this thread is older but I was wondering how difficult it was to disassemble these lights. I ordered some off ebay and some lights are out and the ebayer is kinda jerking me around on getting a replacement.

was easy - just some small screws and then just a touch with a tip of solder on the points

So. Ive had these for about a year. All but 4 LEDs on each headlight are out. I have resoldered all the surface mount LED's but it did not help. Any other suggestions or tests I can do with a DMM?

They are kind of expensive aren't they.

LED's are cheap. I got 50 on eBay for $12. I'll try and replace them but I think it's the circuitry. Replacement headlights are about $100. I've seen the whole kit for about $120. I'd hate for me to buy whole new headlights and for the same thing to happen next year. Any suggestions/recommendations would be great.

As previously mentioned they were $120. The price on the link is a year old. The price on the website is incorrect comparing it to other retailers. Either way that has no bearing on troubleshooting the lights.

Good thing I looked at this post. I was going to order some for my RXV as it didn't come with factory lights. I think I'll go with a different style I really don't like how these protrude from the body like they do anyway. Looks bug eyed IMO...

Replaced the LED's and light are all working now. Be careful when/if your replace. LED's are directional in their polarity and won't work if backwards.
