92 EZGO Controller?
I am new here and hope I'm not asking something that is way down in here.
I have a 92 EZGO that has sat for about four years (a lot of the time out in the weather). It ran fine when it was parked due to bad batteries. I bought new batteries and they are all at 6.1 to 6.2 volts. The Solenoid clicks when the pedal is depressed, Voltage is at 36. I have taken just about every connection off and cleaned (one at a time). I did a test on the the motor (S1 to A2 and 12v charger to the other two) and the motor runs. I even took the motor apart prior to this test to just check the brushes and all seems fine. When the pedal is depressed the wheels turn very slow. I'm at my wits end! I'm thinking the controller? Anyone have any ideas? |

Re: 92 EZGO Controller?
Charge those batteries some more. New battery fully charged should be 6.37 v and the battery pack should be around 38.2 v fully charged and after sitting for 12 hours.

Re: 92 EZGO Controller?
New batteries need to be fully charged before the first use.
Your new batteries are at about 60% SoC (State of Charge) Go to this website and read everything with the word "Battery" in the title: http://www.cartsunlimited.net/Batter...n_Methods.html Get the battery pack voltage up to where it needs to be and we can proceed with troubleshooting from there. |

Re: 92 EZGO Controller?
Check controller output. Test leads on B- and M-. Full pack voltage reading when solenoid JUST clicks. This reading will then go down as the peddle is depressed.
Yes ? Check the high amp cables and F&R No ? check the pot signal |
