Re: 87 Electric Marathon Runs Slow
Howdy all. Looks like motor is in need of replacement. I am doing the 48v upgrade from ScottyB. Any recommendations on what motors will work? And where to get one?

Talk to Vic at D+D motors, he can tell you exactly what you need for your particular set up. Good Luck.

Re: 87 Electric Marathon Runs Slow
Howdy I'm back with another question. I am trying to remove the OEM motor (electric). There is a bolt between the transmission housing and the motor front casing. Does any one have an idea or nifty trick to remove that one?

Re: 87 Electric Marathon Runs Slow
The differential only has three mounting holes while the motor has four bolt holes. Motor case can be mounted at 45° increments of rotation, but only three bolts hold it to the differential.
