Motor Brushes
I buddy of mine has a 2014 ezgo and it died, he took it to the local shop and they said it needed new motor brushes. They replaced them and when he got it back the cart is making a scaping / dragging sound out of the motor . Could this be the brushes just seating themselves and will go away when seated?

Re: Motor Brushes
Maybe... but after 5 miles or so I would also look at a misaligned spring issue or ?
