Hello Divot,

Rings broke or stuck?
When its to much pressure, it can be caused by engine gases passing along the piston in the cranckcase.

Alternative vacuum:
My engine does 9000 revs and sometimes more and has the vacuumhose on the carbinlet between carb and engine.
This because the high revs blew the engineoil out in the cranckcase ventilationsystem.....and in the vacuumhose / pump
See the pics in my albums.
