Default 2010 Precedent. Cloud energy upgrade

Okay. first pulled all the batteries and modified the tub to accommodate the battery. I have to replace the Negative cable as mine is short. I would like to use a lower gage cable. My question is with the 2010 do I have to bypass the OBC? I put an eco in my 2005 and had to butt connect the blue and white, but isn't the 2010 a different wiring configuration?

If you have the gray controller then you can probably don't have to do a bypass because those carts have a 10K ohm pull-up resistor to keep the interlock signal high when a charger isn't connected

I have to replace the Negative cable due to length, so it's not much of a problem.

That guy has a black controller that needs the interlock wire pulled high by splicing it to a wire with pack voltage. If your controller is gray the interlock wire is already pulled high. Shouldn't have to splice it with another wire
